This work was for my final project at Falmouth University. I am interested in graphic design as a tool for helping and empowering people, using visual culture to get messages across and to educate and inform. For this project, I looked into feminism, women’s rights, and how the visual culture for this has changed over the last 150 years. I designed a kit for a workshop, helping women to empower themselves. The workshop structure used different techniques to help the women talk about issues they may face, and how they can empower themselves and others to help in the struggle for women’s rights.
